Meagan Rawlings

I have been fortunate enough to do Matilda's makeup a few times so, I thought we should take it back to basics and show you what we do for her everyday makeup and how you can achieve the same look yourself.

Products Used

- Laura Mercer Radiance Primer

- Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation in 3.5

- Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light

- Bobbi Brown Bronzer - Golden Light

- Bobbi Brown Blush- Pale Pink

- MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle

- MAC Paint Pot in Groundwork

- Ardell Pro Brow Kit

- Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Frappe

- Revlon Bold Lacquer Length & Volume Mascara - Blackest Black

- Revlon Ultra Matte Lip Colour in HD Devotion

Brushes Used

- XO Beauty Angled Face Brush

- Morphe Brushes Deluxe Tapered Powder Brush

- Bobbi Brown Blush Brush

- Anastasia Beverly Hills #12 Brush

- XO Beauty Concealer Brush

- MAC 217 Brush

Step 1 - Make sure your skin is moisturised, then using your fingers massage in the Laura Mercier Radiance Primer all over your face.

Step 2 - Dot Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation in 3.5 on the forehead, cheeks, nose and chin then blend it all out using the XO Beauty Angled Face Brush. Use a stippling motion to really buff the foundation into the skin. I also took the foundation right up under her eyes and over the eyelids.

Step 3 - Using the Morphe Deluxe Tapered Powder Brush dust some Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light all over the face, under the eyes and over the lids.

Step 4 - Using the Morphe Deluxe Tapered Powder Brush again take a small amount of Bobbi Brown Bronzer in Golden Light and buff it into the perimeter of the face and up under the cheek bones to create a soft contour, it also adds warmth to the complexion.

Step 5 - I used my absolute favourite Brush to apply Matilda's Blush, the Bobbi Brown Blush Brush. Smile at yourself in the mirror so you can see your apples pop out, pat Bobbi Brown Pale Pink Blush onto the apples of your cheek and blend the excess up your cheek bones. Using the same brush sweep MAC Soft and Gentle up the cheekbones to give a soft highlight.

Step 6 - To groom Matilda's Brows I first brush them in to place with the spooly end of the Anastasia Beverly Hills #12 Brush. Then using the angled brush end and the darkest colour in the Ardell Pro Brow Kit, fill in the gaps but make sure to brush through again each time to ensure the brows still look soft and natural.

Step 7 - Use the XO Beauty Concealer Brush to spread a thin layer of MAC Paintpot in Groundwork all over the lid, blend the edges right up so it's almost touching the brow. I also like to use the side of the concealer brush with some groundwork on it to blend under the lower lash line.

Step 8 - With the MAC 217 brush, pack Frappe onto the lid and blend the edges right out to where you put Groundwork.

Step 9 - Coat the lashes with Revlon Bold Lacquer Length & Volume Mascara - Blackest Black

Step 10 - Finish everything off with Revlon Ultra Matte Lip Colour in HD Devotion

I love how this makeup just enhances Matilda's natural beauty, sometimes less is more!
